Well the past week has been a complete whirlwind. Griffin and I went to the Bahamas with my family and had an amazing time. It was so great to get away for a while, shut my cell phone off, and relax. We spent 5 days straight laying out in the sun, swimming, snorkeling, and eating some really great food.
My highlights from the trip are as follows:
1) Eating at Mesa Grill (Bobby Flay's restaurant at Atlantis) = it was by far the most exquisite meal I have ever eaten in my life. I had pork tenderloin, sweet potato tamales, pesto mashed potatoes, and tons of appetizers. It was A-MA-ZING!
2) Miami-Vices = I love pina coladas. i love strawberry daquiris. so what better than half of each. i never order anything in the states besides beer so I really enjoyed drinking, perhaps too many :) miami vices.
3) Spending time with my amazing family = I had such a great time spending time with my family. We always have so much fun together and out trip to the Bahamas did not disappoint!!
We got back from the Bahamas, came straight home and showered, and then headed to Waco for Andy and Whitney's wedding!! It was absolutely gorgeous and we could not be happier for them!! And, the wedding was a blast, which was a huge plus!!
My lineup for this week is as follows:
Monday = Babysit Micah, go to the movies with the mom and the sisters to see My Sisters Keeper, and watch the Bachelorette with Allie and Taylor.
Tuesday = Babysit Micah and then spend time with the hubby :)
Wednesday = Babysit Grant for 10 hours straight!!!
Thursday = Babysit Grant for another 10 hours straight!!!
Friday = Head to Granbury for pre 4th of July Celebration at Ralph and Patsy's house!!
Saturday = the 4th of July!!!! For those of you who do not know, the 4th of July is quite possible my favorite holiday of the year!! This year Marie, Pat, and Hollier are coming down to celebrate with Griffin, Graham, Amy and I!!! I cannot wait!!!

Sounds like you guys had an awesome time. The pictures look like it was a great trip! I hope you like the movie...it is very good, a real tear jerker, but very good. They changed the ending for the movie though, which really upset me, but other than that, they did a great job portraying the characters. Probably the saddest movie I've seen though. Along with The Notebook and P.S. I Love You!
Maybe I'll see you for the 4th!
