BIG CHANGES!!

Well a lot has happened since I blogged last. I didn't realize until today how long it has actually been since I have posted something. Things have been far from quiet around here. I have been in a long-term sub position since October teaching English to an AMAZING group of 8th graders!! I didn't really know what to expect teaching middle-schoolers, but I have been blown away by how much I love it! There is something about middle-schoolers that is so endearing. I love all 70 of my kiddos and the wonderful people I teach with am going to be so sad to leave in February when Melissa comes back! I have had a chance to see her precious babies though and they are precious! Being married to a twin, it is special to see little twin boys. It makes me think about what Griffin and Graham looked like when they were that little :) I have another position lined up after this one for a math teacher for 4 weeks, so that should be interesting! Although Granbury is supposed to be on a "hiring freeze" next year, I am hoping I have a chance at some of the positions that are opening up (i know of about 5) know that I am an "insider"!

In other major news... Griffin and I are moving! I know, I know, you are probably thinking... didn't y'all just buy a cute new house??? We always knew we wanted to move back to Granbury, we just didn't think it would be this soon! Because I am ALWAYS looking at houses online, when I found the perfect house in the neighborhood I grew up in, Griffin and I were smitten! We listed our house 2 weeks ago and already have a contract on it! While we know that nothing is for sure until closing, we are optimistic that things will work out!!

If everything works according to plan, we will close on the 15th! And, I must admit, I am a little excited about decorating again, even if I did just got done with this house :)
