miscellany monday

things have been so crazy around here i haven't even had time to think, let alone blog. i really am going to try and be better about blogging but, until school is out, i will most likely be mia.

{one} we are on the final countdown at school = 30 more school days! although i am teaching summer school, it is only 3 hours a day for four weeks. i cannot wait to play with my baby all day. i see a lot of swimming and shopping in the near future.

{two} my sister had her baby. cooper issac rodgers was born on wednesday, april 13th at 3:09 in the afternoon. he weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 21.75 inches long. it is super cool because he was born exactly 12 weeks after baird! although is gave us a scare with some dehyrdation issues, he is doing much better. he has been at cook's since saturday night and will be there, i believe, until friday morning. althoug he is doing fine, they want to continue to monitor him. here is a picture of the cutie... he looks just like his daddy :)

{three} we have been super busy!! cooper was born last wednesday and then griffin and i went to a conference for his work from thursday through saturday in plano. i had a great time getting away from work for a few days and loved getting to spend time with baird :) by the way, griffin is seriously loving his job!

{four} we had a movie marathon on saturday night and sunday night. we watched the last three days, fair game, and love and other drugs, and all three of them were really good!! i highly recommend all of them!

{five} my little man is getting so so big!! i cannot believe how fast he is growing up. this stage is definitely my favorite so far because he has so much personality. last night i started crying while we were watching a movie and griffin looked over at me, asking me what was wrong. i looked at him, with a face full of tears and said "i just love him so much"... although he feels the same way, he thought it was a bit strange. here are some recent pictures of baird...
