this week, i'm loving...

{one} that i've crossed a few things off of my summer to-do list. i cleaned out my closet, taking some stuff to our local boys and girls club and some to plato's closet, a resale shop. i also filled in a ton of information in baird's baby book. i still have a few pictures i need to get printed but overall, i made a lot of progress on it today. 

{two} that i had a super fun monday with my sister. we ran a few errands, accomplished a few surprises for father's day, and had a fun night making burp cloths! we'd been wanting to make some for quite some time and decided that with griffin in new york, there wasn't a better time! we bought quarter yard swatches of fabric at joanns ($.99) and 2 packages of cloth diapers from walmart and made a bunch of cute ones. we still want to monogram them and i assure you that once we do i will post some pictures :) 

{three} that griffin is back from new york city. baird and i missed him terribly and to be quite honest, i was worn taking care of baird by myself and working every day!! can't wait to spend the weekend with griffin :) 

{four} that father's day is this weekend. i'm excited to celebrate griffin's first year as a daddy and i of course, love my daddy and my father-in-law. i assume we will spend the day in granbury swimming and celebrating. and i can't wait for griffin to see his father's day present. 

{five} that our summer vacations are coming up!! i can't wait to spend a week in sunny st. kitts and in scenic vancouver. i bought baird the cutest swimsuit the other day at babiesrus. it, paired with the adorable monogrammed beach bag and towel from my best friend taylor's mom, will be perfect!
