Legacy

After studying for my third (and hopefully last) content test alllllllll weekend, I was so relieved to get it over with today. After taking it, I realized that I probably should have studied more. Although it was the generalist exam for grades 4-8, I felt like I was on an episode of "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?" I guess I will find out tomorrow whether I am or not.

I was talking to my mom earlier today about a bible study she is in. It is with a bunch of her girlfriends and their study for the new year is called "New Beginnings". Tonight they are going to write their own obituary or epitaph (don't really remember which one she said). The whole purpose is to write what it is that you want said or written about you when you die, in the hopes that by verbalizing it, you will make those things a reality.

It's an exercise of life. About asking yourself what you want out of your life, who it is that you are called to be, and, in essence, how you want to be remembered.

Anywhoo... as we were talking about it, I was really inspired to try it myself. So here it goes. This is how I want to be remembered.
