{one} i'm loving that baird's two week appointment this morning went swimmingly well. not only was his weight back up to his birth weight, it was up 2 extra ounces. my pediatrician was super thrilled and even gave us the go ahead to stop supplementing with formula. we are beyond excited about this.
{two} that my precious sister mallory is coming over to spend the afternoon with me today. our plans include dying my hair, my roots are super bad, giving baird a bath, watching a movie, and perhaps making a quick run to babiesrus.
{three} that my first two days home alone without griffin have gone well. i've taken care of babies my whole life but for some reason i was extremely anxious about griffin going back to work. although it has been a bit lonesome at times, i mean he does sleep for like 18 hours a day, it has been wonderful. it is kind of nice spending all day getting to know this little guy. he has more and more personality with each passing day and i am seriously smitten with him.
{four} my amazing husband. the last two weeks have been pretty difficult on us. from the jaundice to the breastfeeding issues, i have been quite an emotional basket case. he has been nothing but supportive and has changed, literally, every diaper of baird's... aside from the ones i changed yesterday and today when he was at work. furthermore, seeing how much he loves this little guy already melts my heart. he calls and checks in from work all day and, although he swears he doesnt do it on purpose, he is extra loud at lunch hoping he will wake up!!
{five} that tomorrow is already thursday!! i already can't wait for the weekend!! baird is having his newborn pictures taken on saturday and i'm hoping the weather is nice enough for us to take baird on his first stroller ride.
{six} that griffin's twin brother graham and his lovely wife amy moved to fort worth this past sunday. they have been living in granbury since they got married and we are SUPER excited that they are finally in fort worth with us... and even better, a couple of streets over!!

oh my gosh! I can't wait to cuddle with a little baby all day...I'm actually looking forward to my alone time with little Georgia. I'm like you and have a ton of nieces and nephews and just can't wait to take care of my own!

I love that Graham has changed all his diapers (until now)! At first Will was totally grossed out by the idea of it, but lately he's been dropping hints like he's willing to learn haha! So glad his appt. went well and I cannot wait to see his precious newborn pics!
casey, too, changed all of our first's diapers for the first week she was home (at least). i was spoiled. love you! so glad he is doing well!
