coffee table

as i mentioned last week, we finally broke down and bought the coffee table we'd been eyeing at world market for a couple of months. i didn't really want to spend the $250 on it, but compared to similar ones at ballard designs and horchow, the price tag was quite a steal, ringing in almost $500 lower than its counterparts. we went into the store, debated whether we should get it for about 10 minutes, and then left the store with big smiles on our faces after purchasing it. all of the decorations on top we already had, and the basket and lockers on the second shelf we already had as well. the rug is new. we snagged it for $30 at ross. we love the way it turned out and love the way it ties in with the galvanized metal light fixtures that we have in the dining room as well.

so what do you guys think? don't you just love the way the rustic wood goes with the galvanized metal?!?

hope everyone is having a fabulous monday!

love,

Love the table and the rug and of course all the finishing touches! Are you still staging/interior designing? You should be!

LOVE it. That's the kind of coffee table we want. We were browsing furniture stores this weekend and in a local, hand made store a similar table was almost $1000! So good find!

OMG! I love that table, it is exactly what I have been looking for. I have never thought to look at a world market. This summer is going to be full of shopping around looking for great rustic chic pieces.
