some wednesday lovin'

{one}

i'm LOVING that it's wednesday and it's a short week - meaning we only have two more days until the weekend. wahoo. we also only have 6 more weeks of school after this week. although i am teaching summer school, its super laid back and only 4 hours a day 4 days per week. i'm so ready for summer.

{two}

i'm LOVING that we're going out to charleston's tonight, one of my favorite restraunts, with my mom, step-dad, and sisters for a belated birthday celebration for griffin. i'm excited not only for the food but also for the fellowship with my family.

{three}

i'm LOVING that my precious baby is healthy and as cute as ever. he started walking full time this past week and it is adorable. every stage gets better and better and i just can't believe how old he is. he's turned into a little man. it makes me sad how fast it goes by but also so excited about all of the fun things we are going to get to do together as he grows older. i can't wait to spend the summer with this cute little guy...

{four}

we successfully sold and purchased new dining room chairs off of craigslist. although the dining room chairs we had were in great condition, i only bought them three years ago, they were totally not my style and i wanted some new ones. i made a deal with griffin that if i could sell the other ones for the same price i bought some for, he would let me do it. i sold our old ones for $175 and bought our new ones ofr $175... and i didn't even have to leave my house :) the guy we purchased the chairs from delivered them to our house. here is a picture of what they look like... i'd been wanting a set of 6 pressed back oak chairs and finally found some in good condition. they're going to get a fresh coat of paint, most likely in a shade of blue.

i'm hoping to start working on them sometime during the next couple of weeks but we'll see :)

i'm seriously addicted to pinterest. i have been for a long time but now that i'm back to doing tons of projects on the house, i can't help myself. i spend at least an hour a day on there... i mean seriously? half the stuff i pin i know i will never make or cook or be able to afford but i still love it :)
