after a long, and i mean looonnnnnggggg, week of taks testing, i was definitely ready for a relaxing weekend at home. i got out of school early on friday so we decided to leave baird with the sitter while we grabbed an early dinner at mi familia. it was yummy as usual and it was nice to eat without a baby for once. we don't get to do that too often. after we picked baird up we spent the evening at my dads house relaxing on the couch watching tv.
saturday morning my amazing sister mallory, who just graduated from ogle cosmetology school, did my hair. i was in major need of some highlights and a hair cut. the great thing about being a teacher to 150 highschoolers is that whenever my roots are starting to look bad, they tell me. so apparantly it was time. i cut off quite a bit of hair and i LOVE the highlights. anyone who lives near fort worth and is looking for a great hair dresser please let me know :)
saturday afternoon i had an amazing time with two amazing friends at the wine walk on the square in granbury. we met my mom and some of her girlfriends down there as well. we walked around tasting wine at all of the different booths and may or may not have bought a few bottles as well. we had dinner on the square and really had a wonderful time!!
{me and taylor}
on sunday we did things around the house and then i headed to mansfield with my mom and sisters to meet the wedding planner that's going to be orchestrating all of the events for my sister's big day! im soooo excited to see all of our amazing ideas come together. our theme for the wedding is "country elegance"... think mason jars, burlap, vintage lace, lanterns, etc. it's going to be beautiful. i have a board dedicated to her wedding on pinterest if you're curious.
and there was obviously a good amount of time spent with my precious little man...
hope everyone else had a fabulous weekend!! happy monday :)
love,

Lovvve your hair! So cute - looks so good on you!
Your hair looks gorgeous! Yay for having a hairdresser for a sister. :) The wine event sounds so fun. There is nothing better than good friends and good wine. Baird is such a cutie pie! Thanks so much for linking up with me.
beautiful hair :) i actually might take you up on your sis doing my hair! i am in desperate need of some trimming...also would love if you have any extra time while you are ever in mansfield to get to have a play date :)
I love your hair - the cut and color! I'm in the hair phase right now where I've been growing it out for awhile so I feel the need to keep it, but I'm itching for a whole new look!
Oh my goodness!! I was at the grandbury wine walk on Saturday too! Crazy :)
