we are moving into our new house!!!
With our closing date quickly approaching, we still have TONS of packing to do. I am proud of myself because, as we were going through all of our stuff last week, we got rid of three, yes three, huge trash bags full of clothes, home decorations, and other miscellaneous things that were crowding our closets. Although our new house does have quite a bit more storage than our current one, it is still an old house so there isn't tons of it.
Amidst all of the craziness, however, we did take a break from all of the packing! I spent the weekend in Madisonville visiting my best friend/roommate from college and Griffin spent it with his brothers, watching some good ole' Baylor basketball. Although we lost to Duke, I am still so proud that we made it to the Elite 8!! I had such a great time catching up with Whit over the weekend. We went to dinner on Friday night with her whole family and then spent the day Saturday getting manicures and pedicures, talking, and of course, eating! Her brother's engagement party was Saturday night and was so much fun! Their house is beautiful and the party was held in their barn! It was a country theme with black and white checkerboard tablecloths with turquoise accents in the form of feathers, flowers, etc. It was absolutely precious, and so much fun as well! Her family really knows how to throw a good party. It was only the engagement party and there were over 200 people there!!
I came back early this morning and spent the day shopping and eating lunch with Kally, my sister-in-law, and then packing up the majority of our dishes! Overall it was a wonderful weekend!
Although this week is sure to be crazy, I am hoping we can make it through it!!
Thursday am - my first day of work
Thursday pm - close on our current house
Friday - work and finish up last minute packing
Saturday am - wedding shower in arlington
Saturday pm - wedding shower in granbury
Sunday am/pm - move into our new house (on EASTER!!)
Monday am - close on our new house (on Griffin/Graham's 25th Birthday!!)
Yeah, I know. Ridiculous right. Although it is going to be crazy, I can't wait to be in our new house!!

i think it's really cool you are moving in on Easter! special! plus, you're probably going to be blessed with good weather. you lead one crazy busy life, but i don't think you'd want it any other way! congrats on all these new changes!
