Drumroll please...

Well after a whirlwind evening  yesterday, we narrowed our house search down to two beautiful houses. The  dilemma  is whether to choose space over location/more amenities. Both are super cute with tons of character but there are definately pros and cons with both.

This one is a 1950 ranch-style house right off of Camp Bowie in Ridglea, which is one of the best neighborhoods in Fort Worth. It has an amazing back yard with multiple brick patios, a covered porch, sprinkler system, electric gate, 2-car garage, etc. It also has beautiful wood floors and tons of period details.

This one is a 1940 colonial-style house with TONS of character. It is actually only a couple of doors down from us in Ryan Place, which is also a great neighborhood, but not quite as great as Ridglea! The major pro for this house is that it is about 500 square feet bigger than the other one. BUT, it does not have the outdoor living space and the garage door is dilapidated.

So, you see where our dilemma lies. Both are super cute with tons of character but their are pros and cons to both. Do we want a ranch-style house with tons of outdoor space? Or a colonial with more room? Agghhh the stresses of real-estate.

Thoughts?? Do tell.

Love,
Maggie

Oooooh I love both, Mag! I will say that yard space becomes so very important with children. At least in our case. But, indoor space is of course just as equally important with all the "stuff" that comes with kids! How annoying would stairs be for you? That is one thing to think about. Or what about the location on the street (busy vs. quiet). Good luck!
