you shouldn't have

i got an email a couple of days ago from a blog reader named mattie, honoring me with two blog awards. i love blog world because it wasn't until she emailed me that i had ever seen her blog. now i have a wonderful new blog to follow.

for each award, i have to list seven things about myself and nominate seven bloggers...

seven things...

{one} i have three sisters, one that is older, amanda(28) and two that are younger, mallory (18) and micah (8). although there is a huge age gap, we are all super close.

{two} my favorite food is salad, for real. not because its healthy, but because i simply love the taste

{three} i teach english to 150 teenagers and, although my job is crazy, i wouldn't have it any other way.

{four} i am frugal to the point that i consider it a fault. yes, it is a good thing to be frugal. but when i hate going to the grocery store, and even ask my husband to pay while i go to the car just so i don't have to see the total, i know i have a serious problem. i'm trying to lessen my worries about $$$.

{five} i followed my husband to baylor university and it was the best decision i ever made. although i had my heart set on tcu prior to graduating high school, in december of my senior year, i decided that if we were going to stay together, i wanted to be with him. i made lifelong friendships and memories that i will never forget.

{six} i want three kids. not right now. but someday. i loved having a big family growing up and we intend, god willing, on having one ourselves. although we do want to have them relatively close together, we are definitely nowhere near that conversation.

{seven} i share a birthday (july 6) with george w. bush and eleanor roosevelt. although i am not a huge fan of either, they're both a pretty big deal.
