{day eight} = least favorite part of the holidays:
although i absolutely LOVE the thanksgiving/christmas/new years season, the worst part is the thought that looms in the back of my head that it will eventually be over. my least favorite part of the holidays would definitely be them ending. there is nothing worse than returning home from a wonderful holiday spent with family and having to take down christmas lights, put up the tree, and put away all of the holiday cheer. the end of the holidays also means that as a teacher, i have to go back to work. i love that we get a week off at thanksgiving and two weeks off at christmas, but after december, the next break isn't until spring break!! lucky for me, i'm not going back to school until mid-february since baird will be making his grand appearance late december/early january :)

I'm in the same boat. I'll only go back to work (teaching) for a few weeks after the holidays and then our little guy will be here at the end of January!! That makes the end of the holiday season much more manageable this year. :)
My thoughts exactly! It's all too fast and then we have a long stretch of nothingness until spring break!

and i totally agree lyndsey... the stretch of school between christmas and spring break feels like an eternity!!
