{two} that this week is almost over. we've had an extremely long weekend, we've had a lot of hard stuff going on with our family, and we've had taks benchmarks all week. i'm definitely ready for the weekend. our only plans are working on the kitchen and spending time with my family on saturday.
{three} that i only have 7 days left of school until i am officially on maternity leave. i'm planning on going back sometime around the 14th of february, which gives me a good two months off. i can't wait to spend it with griffin and little baird.
{four} that my sweet, sweet friend marie sent griffin, baird and me this precious christmas gift. after a long day, it was sooo nice to open this up when we got home late last night. baird is going to love his big sister, marie :) for all of you baylor alumni who are pregnant (i.e. lyndsey and emily), you've got to get this book. it is precious and all of the letters are tied to special events/places/people at baylor. so, so, cool.
{five} that we are making my sister's crib bedding this weekend. we went the day after thanksgiving to pick out fabrics for cooper's nursery and i can't wait to see how it all comes together! my mom and amanda's mother-in-law cindy are going to make the bedding!!
{six} that we have our last sonogram next tuesday. i cannot wait to find out how big he is, whether or not he has dropped yet (i think he has), and whether or not i have made any "progress" in labor terms. i still can't believe that tomorrow i will be 36 weeks. we will get to meet this precious baby sooooo soon.
{seven} that the nursery is basically done. although the decorations have been done forever, we went and spent some of the gift cards we received from my last shower at BabiesRUs and got all of the loot that we were still missing. although no one is ever ready to become a parent for the first time, i do feel like we have everything, or mostly everything, we need.
{eight} that after 6 days away from home, i finally get to spend an evening at home tonight. griffin has his office christmas party tonight so i am going to spend the evening folding laundry, doing dishes, organizing the kitchen cabinets with all of baird's bottles, feeding stuff, etc, and perhaps watching a little television.
i hope everyone is having a wonderful wednesday :)
love,
maggie
