i'm linking up to natalie's blessing box today, because i feel like i have so much to be grateful for.
{my wonderful husband} i know i go on and on about how wonderful he is, but i just can't help it. i can't believe how blessed i am to be able to share my life with my best friend :)
{my wonderful friends} words cannot even express how blessed i am in the friend department. from working with my best friend taylor, to spending at least two nights a week with katie and jordan, not to mention my daily phone chats with allie and my weekend getaways with my best friends from college who live far away every couple of months, i truly am a blessed girl. i am reminded of this daily by their constant love and support over my life.
{my wonderful family} i heart them. although my family is extremely crazy, i wouldn't have it any other way. i am lucky enough to be best friends with both of my sisters and i love my mom and dad more than the world. yes, we might qualify as a tad-bit dysfunctional. yes we may torment and tease each other. but we are nothing but open and honest with one another, which is why i think we have such a strong family bond.
{my wonderful job} although my job can be extremely stressful at times, it truly is such a rewarding place to work. i love my principal. i love the teachers i work with. i love my high school kiddos. yes, the stresses of opening up a brand new school from scratch are overwhelming. yes, i make more decisions for our school than most first year teachers would ever make. yes, i am a teacher, counselor, duel credit coordinator, and curriculum specialist all in one, but i wouldn't have it any other way. i have learned more from my principal and the amazing people i work with over the past 6 months than i ever dreamt possible.
{my wonderful home} our house has monopolized the last 6 months of our house. one project after another, we have completely transformed the look of our house. what once looked like a dungeon, now looks like the country cottage griffin and i both dreamt of when we purchased it in early april. although we still have a few projects up our sleeve - including the kitchen, restaining the hardwood floors, and possibly putting in a pool - we are pretty much done for the time being. except for of course fixing up our little nursery.
{our wonderful baby} you all know how we feel about this little baby in my belly but i figured id mention it again. people say that everything changes once you become a parent, that you see the world completely differently. that things that used to matter don't matter as much and that things that never mattered before now seem paramount. i can say, after carrying this baby for only 6 months, that this must be true. everything in our life has already changed and we're trying to prepare ourselves for the changes that will occur when little baird makes his appearance in the world.
happy tuesday :)
love,
maggie

Oh yay! What great blessings!
I love this! It's so nice to actually sit and reflect on all of the great blessings we have received. They seem so obvious, but it's still nice to actually count them as true, wonderful blessings!
