looking rather pregnant

sorry i have been mia this past week. although i have not posted anything, i have been extremely busy, both at the house and at work. i have 4 posts ready to publish but my camera battery is dead and we lost our charger and i don't want to post without pictures of the different projects. so, i'm going tomorrow to get a charger and promise to post tomorrow night about the house-related things that have been going on around here.

now onto pregnancy talk. i look pregnant. i know, it came out of the blue entirely. 3 days ago i looked like i've always looked, perhaps a little more bloated, and today i look pregnant. it is crazy how that happens. i'm still at negative 4 lbs, which is frustrating, but its assuring to know that there is a baby in there now that i am actually showing. i also experienced the most magical thing last night. i felt the baby kick. at first i thought it was indigestion but when it kept kicking i knew what it was. ever since then it has been going crazy. it really is such a special feeling. i'm 17 weeks 3 days today and the countdown is on for my next appointment, which is the big appointment, not just because i find out if it is a boy or a girl, but also because it is when they do all of the measuring of the bones, organs, etc. i really can't wait to see our little angel at the ultrasound. i haven't had one since very early in the pregnancy and i can't wait to see how much it has changed. aside from my growing belly, i really have felt great. my appetite is much better and i have tons of energy. now i'm just hoping it will last :)

onto some nursery news: we bought a crib the day after we got back from hawaii! i have a whole post dedicated to it that is waiting on pictures so i'm not going to say much more about it. it is a jenny lind though for all of those out there who are curious. in the end, i couldn't resist :)

stay tuned tomorrow for a slew of random posts including a dining room reveal, crib post, travel-related memorabilia post, and some wedding art that i put together tonight.

love,
maggie

How fun to feel the baby moving!
I'm so excited for you all in this pregnancy, and your house is adorable.
Plus, I love your blog; I just rarely get a chance to comment. :)
Can't wait to hear if it's a boy or girl and see the nursery plans. You're so talented!
