labor day fun

griffin and i spent the weekend relaxing in granbury. we drove down saturday morning to get ready for my mom's wedding. i'll dedicate a post tomorrow to her wedding. sunday, we spent the day relaxing around my dad's house. we had lunch with the family and while griffin made a quick trip into fort worth for his fantasy football league draft, i took a two hour nap. we went to dinner with graham and amy at mi familia and went to see the american with my dad afterwards. for the record, i do not recommend the american. it had no plot, no action, and to be quite frank, was extremely boring. we spent the day today at griffin's parents house. we worked on the curtains for the nursery for a bit and, once the rest of the family arrived, we ate, ate, and ate some more. we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend with family. here are a few pictures of the little ones.

i'm spending the evening cleaning up around the house, doing a little grocery shopping, working on a few nursery projects, and watching bachelor pad. after all, it is monday!!

p.s. i want to send out a special congrats to my friend lyndsey who just announced that she is pregnant!! i could not be more happy for her and will!! and i can't wait to see what she does to their nursery. she has the best taste :)
