as soon as we had it in place, we hung the pictures and the baird letters above it, and i did a little accessorizing. while i was originally going to put a lamp and a couple of other things on top, i decided to wait until we get the changing pad on there to see how much room we have left. with the changing pad, the diapers and wipes, the wipe warmer, and other paraphernalia that i'm sure we will have, i didn't want it to be too crowded. so... we shall see.
so, without further adieu, here are some pictures of the beauty.
can you believe the amount of storage in that thing? creating more storage was something we definitely wanted to do so i'm excited about the number of drawers in this dresser. i'm sure we will use some of them for clothes and some for diapers, wipes, medicine, etc. i threw a table runner on top because i don't want to mess up the pretty wood. the vintage locker is currently housing the diapers, although i'm not sure if i will keep it that way for good.
so what do you guys think?
we are so grateful that georgia, along with maurice and carol, were gracious enough to give us this dresser. my love for all things vintage and antique, paired with the ugly selection of changing tables available in stores, made this the perfect solution.
happy tuseday everyone!
love,
maggie

The dresser is so beautiful. I love your taste! Thank you for all of your inspiring posts.
we did the same thing (convert a dresser). works perfectly (and we're using it for the third baby right now) and MUCH cheaper. yours looks much better though (as does everything in your nursery compared to mine LOL)
Love it! We are in the process of decorating our nursery as well. What paint colors did you use for the stripes??? Love them!
