1. Do you like Starbucks? Are you a fan of their seasonal coffees?
i absolutely abhor coffee but i am going to go try their pumpkin spice latte and their apple cinnamon latte. one of my students works there and told me that, even though i don't like coffee, i will definitely like these two choices.
2. How do you decorate and prepare for fall?
it seems like i intend to go all out in my fall decorating every year and i don't end up getting around to it for some reason. i have a few porcelain pumpkins that i put around the house, as well as my fall-scented candles. i love the way those candles make the house smell. we're finished painting the shutters yesterday to we are going to try and hang them today. i'm hoping to post today or tomorrow the final pictures of the shutters, as well as a few decorations we came up with for out front.
3. Will you participate in your college's homecoming activities?
absolutely. griffin and i both love baylor and we have been back for homecoming each year since we graduated. although we may not go to the game, we will definitely go to the parade and other festivities. i heart baylor. griffin and i joke that we'd go back in a heartbeat if we could.
4. What is your favorite fall clothing item and or accessory?
its a three-way tie between my leggings, boots, and north face. i absolutely love wearing my leggings in the fall, and i feel like i'm always wearing the tons of boots that i have. and you can't beat the comfort of a north face. although i am a little worried that it might be too tight this year since i'm pushing 7 months pregnant!
5. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?
sadly enough, i don't really remember too many of my halloween costumes. one that i do remember, because it was particularly weird, was the year that my mom dressed up as a milk-maid and my 2 sisters and i dressed up as cows. yeah, pretty odd i know. and even more odd with the impending birth of my son, who i know ill be a milk-maid for for at least 6 months. i still to this day ask my mom what she was possibly thinking when she picked them out.
6. Do you like Halloween/horror movies? Do you have a favorite?
nope. i'm an absolute scaredy-cat so the thought of watching people get killed, eaten alive, etc makes me shutter with fright. i prefer to skip out on those seasonal flicks.
7. What is your favorite fall activity?
i'd have to say being outside. i absolutely love spending time outside in the fall. one of the amazing features of our new house is our backyard so i can't wait to spend tons of time out here with friends and family this fall.
i'm not a huge cook but one thing i do love to make in the fall is chili and cornbread. it is hot, filling, and there is something distinctly fall about it.
9. What TV show are you most excited about this fall?
i love television in the fall. after a long day of work, watching the tube is one thing griffin and i do for a couple of hours at night.
this fall, my favorite shows are as following.
* Brothers & Sisters (ABC)
* Desperate Housewives (ABC)
* Boardwalk Empire (HBO)
* The Biggest Loser (NBC)
10. When do you start Christmas shopping?
eh, usually around the beginning of december. although i might try to start a little earlier this year considering ill be pretty close to my due date (01/06/11)
11. What do you miss most about summer?
not having to work. that's honestly about it. i prefer the fall/winter to the spring/summer any day of the week.
12. What movie coming out soon are you most excited about??
honestly we rarely go to the movies anymore. i'm sure we will see a few over the christmas break, im just not sure which ones. i did, however, see the social network on friday night and i highly recommend it. it is really interesting and absolutely hilarious if you have a dry sense of humor.
we really do have a couple of projects we're working on so i'll try to post about them before we leave for boston.

and lissa, we were NOT cute!! mallory may have been but amanda and i were going through the fat stage so the cow attire didn't help our figures out!!
go try the pumpkin spice for sure! it just has that warm feeling of fall! and we love the biggest loser too, this season has already been so good!
Oh girl, Natalie is right...that carmel apple cider is to.die.for! Not totally low cal but worth every sip! I'm not a coffee drinker either so I either go for the peppermint hot chocolate or the apple cider. And I didn't realize you went to Baylor! So fun. I went to A&M but have tons of Baylor friends. When did you graduate?
