bargain shopping and a weekend wrap-up

although our weekend included a lot of work...
  • cleaning out the garage - this was a pretty intense project that required a lot of sweating in the 100+ degree temperatures
  • painting the buffet table
  • laundry, laundry, laundry
  • grocery shopping
it also included a lot of fun...
  • dinner out with the hubs and a redbox flick on friday - if you haven't seen Crazy Heart yet you have to see it. it's an awesome movie with an equally awesome soundtrack. jeff bridges is brilliant.
  • barnes and noble and shopping at gap on saturday afternoon
  • spending time at hastings and lori's house with good family and friends
  • design appointment and initial walkthrough with a new client
  • a nice, relaxing sunday evening watching our tv shows and eating homemade pizza
although i don't need maternity clothes yet, and am not really sure when i am going to need maternity clothes, i'm not buying any clothes right now that if i don't think they will fit me throughout the majority of my pregnancy. although i'm sure i'm going to have to buy actual maternity clothes at some point, for not i'm just trying to purchase normal clothes that will "expand"!

anywhoo... at gap yesterday, they were having a major sale with 40% off of clothing that was already on sale. when i saw this little gem, i knew i had to have it. i even put stuffed a pillow under it when i got home to ensure that it would fit for a while.

for 10 buckaroos, i figured it was quite a deal. and griffin bought a sweater for $2 but he didn't want to model for the camera. go figure.

be watching for before and after pictures of the buffet table. griffin has been working on it all afternoon :) i know, i have the best husband ever.

did yall have a good weekend?

love,
maggie

How cute are you with your little pillow tummy! You are still so tiny, I think the only thing that is going to grow is your belly! And super cute dress!
